Clean your space with intention

I begin the broom making process by exploring the hills and forests for wood for the broom sticks: Maple, Serviceberry, Myrtle, Chokecherry, Hazel, and other hardwoods, fit for a lifetime of service.

I cut and cure the choice branches with gratitude and respect for the life and wisdom of Trees.

I tie my brooms by hand, no machines here!

Each is made carefully, with the informed perspective of someone who reveres sweeping as an important daily ritual for cleansing the home- both physically and energetically.

As the dust is gathered from the corners of the room, so are the stray thoughts, worries, and uncertainties. As we begin to sweep, we gather these “dust” spirits and throw them to the Wind.

What better way to cleanse the home than with these beautiful tools carefully made according to traditional methods.

The spirit of

HandCraft

There is a magic that comes from making stuff by hand, a spark of life force that is lost when things are made by machine. We put our spirit, our hearts and our prayers into our work when we slow down and get our paws deep into it. When you know the story behind an item you are walking with, it carries a medicinal life energy that is lost when things are industrialized.

Workshops
& Demos

I believe one of the most healing things we can do is sit in circle together. Crafting and making in this way is how many of our Ancestors used to spend their days. Singing, praying, and telling stories while breathing life into our everyday tools and essentials. It is a major passion of mine to share craft and sit in circle with others. I typically spend some time each year traveling to do so. I hope to sit with you someday.
